This particular plate is 26cm in diameter and has been decorated with a design called “George III”. A pattern taken from a porcelain pottery range designed and made by Royal Worcester in about 1805. The center is decorated with the royal arms, and the border shows oak garlands enclosing the crowned cipher of George III and sprigs of national flowers tied with ribbons.
